(K)ompendium

I built this endgrain floor entrance step for the Learning Studio at the Exploratorium. It is made of small pieces cut from lengths of 4x4 and secured with hot glue and cork strips. I’m surprised at how well it has held up to museum traffic for the last 5 months. I also designed and built the wall structure with help from Nicole Catrett.
